on its latest number, one of my recent articles regarding "the religions
and the politics in contemporary Japan; if you are interested in it, please

in English is not yet available for the being.
* "Springer" N.Y. publishing company has published the book including
one of my articles, Unversity of Palermo had published in Italian. Please

* A dearest friend of mine, Mr. Robert Whymant, former corresepondent of
"The Times" passed away, having been victimized by that tragical
tidal bore in Sri Lanka; he followed thus one of our commun intimates,
the late Signor T. Terzani, former correspondent of "Der Spiegel"
in Beijin and in Tokyo, who had deceased in Firenze four years ago after
his famous days in Himaraya . While I prepare my "Reminiscence"
about them, Bob's widow Mineko-san launched an organization for the sake

* Apart from my ordinary job, I continue to publish my writings with pseudonyms
on various subjects on periodicals; Having been unable to refuse the rerquirement
on the part of those friends who had wanted me to diffuse them on the Website,
I disclose below some of them, treating subjects so general as to possibly
interest the public. As a matter of fact, some of them are still in Japanese
unfortunately for the time being .
